February 16, 2023 Update
Bethel Global Response arrived on the ground in Turkey 48 hours after the event and has been there ever since. We are meeting families' immediate needs by providing things such as tents, sleeping bags, hygiene kits, warm meals, and food boxes. We continue to assess needs, including identifying vulnerable populations where aid is not reaching. Doors are opening for assistance to finally access Syria, many whose citizens are just now receiving assistance, ten days after the event.
It is our honor to run alongside of faithful partners in the field to extend our reach beyond what we could achieve on our own. Mercy Chefs, Hand of Hope, and Water Mission have enabled us to run further on the ground in Turkey and Syria. Please pray as our teams continue to follow the presence of God leading us in disaster response in the Middle East. May God be glorified in all we do while Jesus stands firm as the hope of the nations.
Bethel Global Response oversees a team of over 1,000 people who are trained to respond to disasters. While carrying the atmosphere of heaven, we tangibly display the love of Jesus by meeting physical needs through ash outs, relief and recovery training, food distribution, and more. We meet people in moments of crisis with hope and love. Through these divine opportunities, we see life restored and people beginning to dream again.
