Our local V.O.A.D. members developed an immediate food response effort to serve our local region of Shasta and Tehama County. With many organizations playing a critical role in this response, Bethel was able to facilitate the packing center of this initiative as well as driving and delivery routing coordination. Through community agencies working together on this response, almost 2,300 households received food packages, assisting just under 5,000 individuals.
Simultaneously, in response to our city’s shortage of personal protective equipment, Bethel Global Response established a trained team to create face shields and masks critically needed by businesses and our local health service providers. Through this initiative, 1,500 masks and shields were given out to businesses and agencies that directly needed them to continue to function. Of the PPE that was collected, 4,808 items were donated directly to our local Shasta County Health Department to be used where it was needed most.

Bethel Global Response oversees a team of over 1,000 people who are trained to respond to disasters. While carrying the atmosphere of heaven, we tangibly display the love of Jesus by meeting physical needs through ash outs, relief and recovery training, food distribution, and more. We meet people in moments of crisis with hope and love. Through these divine opportunities, we see life restored and people beginning to dream again.
