2021 Wildfires created an ongoing need for regional and local recovery. It was our pleasure to meet the needs of families in Shasta County after the Salt Fire and then the Fawn Fire. Teams of volunteers from our trained responders, BSSM students, and staff all came together and spent time with families who lost their homes sifting through the ashes to recover keepsakes and valuables that may have survived the fires. We found diamonds, heirlooms, military decorations, and got to spend time with these families as they processed their grief and felt hope revived and restored.

Bethel Global Response oversees a team of over 1,000 people who are trained to respond to disasters. While carrying the atmosphere of heaven, we tangibly display the love of Jesus by meeting physical needs through ash outs, relief and recovery training, food distribution, and more. We meet people in moments of crisis with hope and love. Through these divine opportunities, we see life restored and people beginning to dream again.
