A BSSM student reported this testimony from her time doing outreach on the streets of L.A., leading up to the Azusa Now event on April 9:
Today I met a man who had skin cancer. So I asked if I could pray for him, and he said, "Sure. Why not? Knock yourself out." I was about to, and all of a sudden, a boldness rose up in me, and I asked him, "Hey when Jesus heals, would you give your life to the Lord?" And he said, "Of course, but He's not." I told him, "Well, let's pray and watch God work." He just kind of rolled his eyes. I first asked if he had a mirror on him so he could watch the cancer leave since it was on his shoulder, and he couldn't see it. And miraculously he did. So when I told the cancer to leave his body, we both stood there looking at it, and it started shrinking. He started crying and said, "I'm a man of my word, and I will give my life to Jesus." So he gave his life to Jesus, and by the time we got done, the whole skin cancer was gone. Yea, Jesus!
