Susan Allen was raised as a YWAM missionary kid in Hawaii and Southeast Asia. Through her growing up experiences, she developed a passion for the younger generation to walk with God. After several years of working as a teacher in the United States, Susan, her husband James, and their four children relocated to Penang, Malaysia and served as missionaries for 14 years. In Malaysia, Susan worked as a teacher and administrator at a large international school. Their family relocated to Redding, California in June 2019, and Susan completed a master’s degree in Christian Spiritual Formation and Leadership from Friends University.
For the past several years, Susan has worked as a conference speaker and spiritual formation consultant with Christian schools around the world. In partnership with Bethel Christian School, she began the BCS Encounter Home School Program, an interactive spiritual growth program for homeschooling families, and was appointed as Bethel Christian School’s Vice-Principal in August 2021. In June 2022, she stepped into the role of Principle of Bethel Christian School. Susan has a passion for children and families to encounter God together and for faith to be passed from generation to generation.
