We moved to Asia, following a leading we had received years earlier. Unexpectedly, we found ourselves developing businesses from which we saw the Lord’s blessing reach beggars from the streets, hundreds of employees, and communities of hurting and abandoned people, young and old.
I was surprised that every expectation I came with about how this would unfold was wrong. Therefore the early years taught me my absolute inadequacy to bring about the Kingdom or even understand it. That was a painful, difficult season. Gradually, as we became more teachable, his guidance became clear and life giving.
Today, I am passionate about sharing with people, often in business, what we learned of the Kingdom and how it can flow into a community through even a single business surrendered to him. We travel globally and love to find people in similar situations, encourage them with what we have seen the Lord do, and impart everything to them.
