Welcome to Day One of Holy Week: Palm Sunday!
Join us for one of our Sunday church services at 8:00am, 9:15am, 10:30am, 1:00pm, or 6:00pm as we celebrate this day. All are welcome! Click here for more service information.
Palm Sunday demonstrates humanity's fickleness and expectation that God comes and does things the way we want. Though it foreshadows the true worship God deserves, Jesus is only temporarily received with joy before the crowds and His followers turn on Him later in the week.
Prayer Focus:
- Reflection and repentance for the times when I received Jesus with joy but then, in trials, rejected Him as King and Lord in my life.
- Prayer for a steadfast love and commitment to the Lord in our lives in and in the body of Christ. We would be devoted to His heart and ways in all we do.
- Our nation would know and acknowledge Jesus as the King of Kings and surrender to His Lordship.
Scriptures for Today:
Zechariah 9:9, Luke 19:28-40
