Bethel Family Camp has become one of the highlights of the year for our local church and is the perfect opportunity for you to connect and create unforgettable memories with the Bethel Church family.
Each year over 400 singles, couples and families join us for camp. But don’t let that number intimidate you, even with such a great turnout, it still feels like family. Genuine connection and relationships happen easily and in such a beautiful way when you have the opportunity to get away from the busyness of life and work and immerse yourself in a week filled with shared meals, laughter, making memories together, playing together, competing, serving, and worshiping all set against the backdrop of God’s glorious creation. This is the one event that your whole family, of all ages, will love and carry memories from all year.
Multiple options for dates and accommodation are available so you can tailor your camping experience to suit your family’s needs. Whether you can only make it for the 4th of July weekend or want to bask in the full week of fun, we've got you covered. As well as options for tent camping, RV or cabins and even an optional meal plan for those who want to take a break from cooking..

Family Camp is for the WHOLE local Bethel Church family — both singles and families!
For our solo campers, we want you to know that this is one of the best opportunities to get to know and hang out with other singles and families of all generations. We intentionally provide regular opportunities for you to jump in and feel easily included in activities, meals, and just hanging out. We know that sometimes working out the details of camping as a single can be tricky, so we have a dedicated group section where our singles can camp together, which helps provide a connected and fun experience for our single campers. Make sure that you mark yourself as a solo camper to be a part of the singles camping group!
If overnight camping is not your thing, or you can’t block out multiple days to join us for a whole session, don’t worry - we’ve got you covered. Join us for 1 or more days. The drive to Richardson Springs is just over an hour and quite doable for a day trip to Family Camp. Bring your lunch/dinner with you or let us take care of the meals and join in our family-style meals in the dining hall. Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit, towel, and camp chair to participate in all the fun activities.
This year Family Camp is being held at the beautiful Richardson Springs which is the current YWAM base in Chico. We have rented out the entire campus for the full week and are excited about having the freedom to create a fully tailored camp experience for our Bethel Family full of optional recreational and group activities each day.
Richardson Springs is located on a creek with hot mineral springs, nestled in a beautiful valley 9 miles north-east of Chico at an elevation of 620 feet. Days are hot and nights are cool with the normal temperature ranges from mid 80’s to 90’s during the day and mid 50’s to low 60’s at night.

RV Full Hookup: $60/night OR $180/session
RV Dry: $35/night OR $105/session
Cabin: $90/night OR $270/session
Hotel Room: $75/night OR $225/session (up to 4 in room)

In order to make it possible for our large families to be able to attend Family Camp with us, we have set a max price per family. Family Campers can choose to prepare their meals at their site or join in with our meal plan for prepared meals.
You are welcome to bring and prepare your own meals on site. Think off-grid camping with perks.
Here are a couple of things to keep in mind.
Richardson Springs has a wonderful dining facility and we are excited to once again offer a full meal plan for our family campers to enjoy low cost, great tasting communal meals together. No matter what type of camping you are doing from tent to hotel, you are welcome to join us for meals.
We have done our best to make the meal plan exceptionally reasonable in it’s cost, you can’t even eat at McDonald’s for the prices we are offering! The prices below are all meals included for each session. A meal plan menu will be listed up on our facebook page as soon as it has been completed.

Ages 0-5 eat for free!
We will be offering a supplemental salad bar for all lunch and dinners. Options for those who don’t eat meat or who are gluten intolerant will be available. Please note that we cannot guarantee for those with Celiac no cross contamination. If you have serious food allergies, please plan to provide your own meals.
